Re: Ask DS: Conventional vs Slab Foundation

We are currently looking to build and our contractor was against conventional but mentioned a raised slab to get that lifted look. That is probably the route we will go.

Re: Boat registration?

I had a game warden come Tuesday to inspect my old Jon boat that had no serial number. He told me to send in the info he gave me and a bill of sale, but since I didn't have a bill of sale, I typed up an affidavit of facts and had it notarized.

So yes, the way he talked, a bill of sale would work.

Re: My duck hole question

Alot of the water has gone down, but it still 4-8" deep in most places. Some millet has laid over but the majority of it is looking pretty good. Glad yours is looking good AL, if all else fails at mine, we can get some geese out of it.

My duck hole question

This summer we cleaned up around 3 acres of swamp and planted brown top millet. The millet grew great and just recently browned up full of seeds. After Lee passed thru Monday, our hole is full of water and most of the millet is either under water or barely above.

My question is: Will this place ...
