- What Was The Greatest Duck Hunt You Had And Why: I was hunting some public ground in a hole I used to get taken to. I was a few birds short of a limit on this particular hunt. My dog, Gauge, was a bad breaker. A few mallards came in and I knocked one down and crippled another. Gauge picked up the dead one and not the crippled one I sent him on. It frustrated me that my dog needed to be trained better. I met Pat and Cindy Gandy from Hazlehurst, Ms. They helped me turn Gauge into a machine.
