Every dog owner wants to make sure their pet is protected and safe at all times, whether it be on the road or at home. J Paul Jackson, owner of Lone Oak Retrievers, believes that Gunner Kennels provides the solution!
“Its a really cool story. The owner Addison never felt that his dog was safe and secure in just a normal crate you would buy at PetSmart, Tractor Supply, or Walmart. His goal was to build a kennel that would be affordable and provide superior protection for his dog,” Jackson said.
Addison Edmonds, founder of Gunner Kennels (located in Tennessee), was able to do just that after research and development.
“He came up with a dual wall roto molded kennel that is made very similar to the new high-performance coolers that are out there on the market. The new Gunner Kennel is extremely tough because of its dual wall and is designed to absorb the impact of a crash,” Jackson said.

Not only is the kennel the safest option during a crash, due to its double wall, but it also is great at holding heat in in the winter and keeping the inside cool in the summer. No matter the heat outside or the temperature on the bed of a truck, even sitting in direct sunlight, it will not transfer any heat inside of the kennel.
