I know these reviews are my opinion. Some people will agree with them and some won’t. Here is one that when hunters read this will be like, what? This is not the opinion of a group. It is mine and mine alone.  I have had the honor of owning a Browning BPS since I was twelve years old. Out of all the shots fired through it, how many days would you guess I have had problems with it? You guessed it, none! It has had thousand of rounds put through it and not one malfunction. I am lucky enough now own two Browning BPS pumps. The one my dad gave me when I was twelve and I took one from a hunter as payment a few years back. He didn’t have the cash to pay me for his hunt and I asked him if he wanted to pay me with his gun. That is a story in itself, but he did and the rest is history. Here are some features of the Browning BPS:

  • One of the finest pump action shotguns put on the market
  • The 12-gauge Browning BPS Hunter weighs 7.69 lbs unloaded, making it lighter than most other shotguns.
  • With a barrel length of 28 in. and an overall length of 48.75 in., this gun is somewhat larger than other 12-gauge shotguns.
  • The Browning BPS Hunter has a Length of Pull of 14.25 in
  • Does not hold 3.5 inch shells
  • It is a bottom ejection pump
