If some animals are good at hunting and others are suitable for hunting, then the Gods must clearly smile on hunting.

this is terrible, while I understand accidents happen our anti-hunting friends are likely to have a field day with this

Admit it. If that had been Jesse Jackson or Marion Berry, you would have thought it was funny. :P

Considering it was VP Cheney and on of his buddies most of the anti's are probably just dissapointed it wasn't worse....

I'm glad the other guy is doing well, accidents happen whether you're driving a car, hunting or walking down the street...they are terrible, but they do happen, I just wonder if Bill Clinton had a car wreck and rear ended one of his neighbors would it even make the news as long as the other guy is ok?

I am assuming in Don's scenario we would have to substitute rabbits in place of quail! 8)

and it might be a little funny

I just got back from Tx in an area where there were lots and lots of quail. I can tell you that in the area where we were a hunting accident is just waiting to happen. You seriously can't see 15 yards in any one direction. They are just blowing this all out of proportion because of WHO it was.

The guy was probably a Democrat. If so, I wish Cheney had been a better shot.

Better shot? He shot the guy in the face. Sounds like a good shot to me. News said he and another guy walked in one direction and this guy come slipping up behind them unannounced and the covery flushed behind them, boom, pellets to the face of the guy sneaking up.
