New on the MS Ducks
I have been looking on the MS Ducks for about 2 month now that I got a computer. I like to duck hunt and talk about duck hunting. If my name doesn't give it away I am of color. I hope you good old boys don't hold that agaist me. I blow a call good to.

I'm a man of color too...just happens to be white..as in red, white and blue. Hope you don't hold that against me..and I don't blow a duck call very well...but I do have two fine looking labs that I have trained to sit in my lap while in the reclining chair. Welcome aboard..it's the content of a man's heart that counts, not his color.

Antonio.....it makes no difference (to me) what color your skin is, here.......but I hope it's perty-THICK.
These folks get kinda 'grumpy' at times and let it get outa hand.
One of the best duck callers I've ever been around was a black fella from around Stutgart......but he blew a RNT.....'been in several contests and hangs around Richenbach a lot. 'Kinda obnoxious (he was) at Mack's grand opening several years back. I was tryin' to get some instructions and was buying a honker call from Tim Grounds (Mike Keller was set-up in the same booth in the middle o' the store......Robertson and Rod Haydel were floatin' around in the rest of the store), and this little fella was blarin'-out contest routines that would rival the best of'em. I remember thinkin'...."man, I wish I could call HALF that good!.....but I wish he'd take that thang outside for awhile."
I gave a fella over in the Delta, a Mallardtone I use to blow....but I got to where I was chipping all the reeds the maker was sendin' me, so I started using something else. I wonder if he still uses that call.

Welcome aboard! From time to time, you probly might hear some remarks that aren't right. But, I'd be willing to bet you can hold your own with this bunch! I spent most of my life blowing a wood Yentzen and still have the last one my Daddy bought me back in the early 70's. Always had to have two cause those suckers would stick bad in cold weather. No telling the ducks we shot in Delta National with me using those old calls! Sure like remembering those days, though.
just have us on a duck hunt with ya..... welcome dont give any GPS cordnaites to double R2!
or rip or teul2 or chuckle12 or anyone else..... just me got a new GPS for my birthday and need to practice with it! have a good time and share sum knowledge! oh yea we love to talk about spinners (msduckmen is the man on spinners)

The Spinners were the greatest soul group of the early '70s, creating a body of work that defined the lush, seductive sound of Philly soul.
Ironically, the band's roots lay in Detroit, where they formed as a doo wop group during the late '50s.
Throughout the '60s, the Spinners tried to land a hit by adapting to the shifting fashions of R&B and pop. By the mid-'60s, they had signed with Motown Records, but the label never gave the group much consideration.
