Thinking about leasing 5 acre pit in crowder
Any body ever hunted that area. Heard there are a ton of birds. Went there this weekend and nothing. Just wondering if I should drop a grand. It is a long way Birmingham. I saw Okefe and was wondering how the duck hunting was there.

Crowder can be hot at times. You will wear them out for several days then nothing. 1000 for a 5 acre with pit is pretty high for that area in my opinion.

You could set up a floating blind inside a 5 acre pit and just hunt out of that. 5 acre pit is a pond in itself.

Okeefe is for deer hunting and bird watching only. No duck hunting allowed. The water for a more interesting deer hunt.

I'd get that for sure. Damn the price. Sounds too good to be true.

5 Acre huh now I do believe that would be a combo which always means a good deal. I mean a 5 acre pit you could through a heck of a party in that thing, hell all of Crowder's resident's including pets could fit in there, better jump on that

Damn, i thought I had that one
Is that buddy of yours tryin to blow that call or make love to it?

i think you should go for it. We have a shortage of "alabama duck hunters" this year.

Alabama has overtaken South Carolina as the invasive species de jour in my little corner of the delta. Last weekend, I swear I heard some jackleg in the 3Way saying "That an't how we do it on Guntersville. You can't play that there." Every single dude from MS within earshot cracked TFU laughing at the same time. Unreal.
So many ducks, so little time....

It it time. I feel that I can no longer sit idly by and not speak up for those of us in Alabama who at least know our booty from a hole in the ground. Not much more, but we do know that. Pleeeeaaase do not lump us all into the same group as model12licker and some of his kind. We're not ALL stupid.
Can I get some points for growing up in MS? Please?? Just a couple? I promise not to be too topwater. And I hate Alabama Football.
We're not COMPLETE idiots, SOME PARTS ARE MISSING.
