What type of off season work, do most of you do with your lab?

Well I can't speak for the rest of the people on this subject, but my training partners and I play the hunt test game. I train 6 - 7 days a week to get ready for hunt test. For me there is no off season for dog training , if anything I train less during hunting season. Training for hunt test is a good way to make the season last all year. If you have not been to a test you need to make an effort to go. It is a good place to meet training partners and get invaluable tips. Hunt tests make you and your dog better in the field. Getting your dog titttled is a real good feeling, not to mention it makes them worth more when you decide to have puppies.
