Don,
I spoke to Bert Flemming's wife on the phone, and Bert was not going to be in town until next week. Jerome, she gave me your home phone number to give you a call since she knew you had one of Bert's blind on your boat, but I was a little leary to bother you at home.
So, If you dont mind Id like to ask ya'll a couple of questions about your blinds? Do you hunt out of War Eagles? Which camo do you have on Bert's frame? I love the look of Fast Grass, but Ive never hunted it before and my boat is in Break-Up. Do you hunt sitting on the gun-box side of your boat? How long did it take Bert to build your blind?
Thanks for your time,
Jason

Hail Call to Jerome Goldberg and Don Miller
Decoy bags dont float?
Jason,
I have a Burt blind on my War Eagle and I have a front and rear seat and the third or fourth person hunt off the gun box. I have and Avery windblocker and mossy oak camo breakup for the camo. If you dont get Burt to build the blind early he gets so many orders it takes him awhile.
I know both Jerome and Mark and I beleive that Mark's boat is set up like mine.

blind questions
I don't think Jerome is on this forum, at least not regularly. He bought a new F&F boat last year and had Bert to build a new blind for it. Pedestal seats are used I believe. Mark has a WarEagle. You can use the camo of your choice, just match it to your surroundings so it blends in. I have both a Bert blind and an Avery blind and the best camo I have seen is the army surplus type netting. It really blends into the shadows better than the leafy cut Avery Outdoors camo....at least IMHO.

Hey High Brass 7s, I am in Florida at this time and just opened an account on the computer down here on the Emerald Coast. About the Bert Flemming blind, if I were you I would give Bert a call as soon as he gets back. Maybe even trailer your boat on up to Greenwood. I promise, there is not a better built blind on the market. About the fast grass camo, I wouldn't recommend it unless you are going to try to hunt rice fields exclusively out of your boat. I would take Jim Aire's advise about the military netting or go with the Avery wind blocker and netting whether it is shadow grass or break up. Try to match the surrounding that you are hunting. Typically an olive drab, brown or black will most likely fit the surrounding that you will be hunting from a boat. Good luck and good hunting. Mark B "AKA" Don Miller
