I don't think it happens for a couple of reasons. Rightfully or not, the media is currently painting Miles, as always, as an idiot with a talent rich team that is lucky and wins. That may be true, no arguments for the most part. Michigan will not want that type of bad press. IF they will the national title, he will be in line for a big raise in Baton Rouge. It is easier to recruit in Louisiana than Michigan and the state of Louisiana is loaded with talent for the 2009 recruiting class.

Many Tiger fans think the best case scenario is that LSU wins the national title and he leaves for UM. Many believe his assistants are the reasons LSU has avoided a much rougher season. Bo Pelini is probably off to be a head coach...perhaps Nebraska.

If LSU can pull the right coach, I think they are okay with Miles going. Jack Del Rio will probably be the first name mentioned if Miles does leave. His daughter attends LSU and he was supposedly close to coming to LSU during the last hiring. Barry Alverez might also be mentioned. I have also heard John Gruden, although Tampa is having a decent year this year, so who knows. I am sure Bobby Petrino would be at the top of the list as well and I would imagine he would love to jump ship from Atlanta.

I don't think Carr wants to stay. I think resigns at the end of the year, win or lose.
