Estate shotshells
Had an Estate shell misfire, I shoot a pump and upon squeezing the trigger my natural reflex is to pump the gun. I did so but stopped at about half way. The next thing that happens wasn't pretty. The shell goes off in the ejection port and sends a peice of the brass through my nuckle. The delay from trigger pull to detonation was 2 seconds. Has this happen to anyone else. Sure scared the heck out of me. Ears rang for two days. I was really lucky that the ejection port was pointed in a safe direction. Just a heads up.

Go to outlaw.com and order the italian B&P shells. They burn clean, hit harder than any shell I have ever shot (& I have shot a lot of em) and they are specially designed to have less recoil, best of all they are dirt cheap.
I ordered a case last season late and shot a few and really liked em. That is all I shot this year and they are duck devastating. They almost remind me of the knockdown power of lead.

I second the Vandal, The B&P shells have really supprised me. I bought two cases and and made my way through one of them flawlessly. I will shoot them as long as they are available.

I bought some Estate shells last year and will never buy any again. I bought two boxes and at least 10 shells out of those 50 would jam in my chamber after shooting. My ejector would rip clean through the ejector rim. Never had this happen with any other ammo before or since. Estate said it was my gun. That ammo sucks.....
