Right on target Padre'. That is the one and only BB. Jae Antoine just happens to be his new wife, lucky thing. From what I understand he is working on a lease with Harrah's for some of this land. A hefty deal too. Wonder if they know this guys past? Maybe a little bird will tell them.

I saw the same thing on the weather channel but with a little different story. It was in Minn. these ducks were being feed in large numbers all year long because they were fun to watch. The ducks became dependant on the feed and never migrated, when the snows came it became impossible to feed them ...

Super nice place and the hunting is excellent. Seems like it always has birds. The owner is Robert Jarvis and you will be very impressed with him. If I'm not mistaken he also offers deer hunting.

Fly back north? Seems like most of them never leave. Face it as long as they keep feeding them up north it will never be as good as it could be. Our season needs to at least run into Feb. for us to get maximum migration. Some years maybe not but they are getting fewer and farther between.

Coming from a taxidermist point of view, I did a pair of woodducks for a co-worker last year using water resin. The drake is standing on driftwood and the hen is swimming beside him. Looks great but a little more expensive.

Bought 12 dz. at 25.99 dz. weighted keel. Wasn't expecting much but was well pleased with the quality. The paint scheme was good with plenty of detail. They are standard but look really good on the water. The ducks decoyed to them really well and that's what really counts. I would say buy them if ...

I don't know about sacks of potatoes but if you plant sweet potatoes and then flood them the potatoes will swell and bust and the ducks love them.Protein is what the ducks are looking for and taters are a high sourceof it. They are also very easy to grow and maintain. Also sacking up taters like you ...

IT'S ON!

Not such a bad day considering the 35mph gusts and the cold air. Three blinds and thirty confirmed kills and just as many misses. Had one duck whose breast was full of worms but the gator didn't mind. Maybe this front didn't push birds further south. Had a great time!
