clean it there are ports under the metal ring that you can clean out could be your problem take off forearm big ring that goes over magizineuse wire or small toothpick but a good over all cleanig you might also check the o ring good luck or try different brand of shells

i did a thorough cleaning. you would be amazed at what builds up over a few years of swamp trudging. the ports were clear but the oring didn't seem to have much elasticity. where can i get another one w/out having to order from factory?
duckhuntr: did you try either of these fixes?

I had a brand new 11-87 that would not eject light loads right out of the box. I used it for turkey hunting and sold it a couple of years ago. Wish I had it back.

1. clean it and make it look pretty.
2. sell it in the Sunday newspaper and buy a real gun.

You might check the spring that is located within the stock...NOT the spring on the outer piece but the spring on the INNER shaft that the stock slides onto....If you have been in flooded water and/or brackish/salt water...the spring may be on the verdge of rusting up..or seizing up..my 2 cents...

Do you have a white f250? I saw a tag on the front of one the other day at the shell on 471 in brandon?

The 11-87 is a jammomatic, just not as bad as the SBE that was recommended twice earlier..........
I would say get a beretta or bgh, or even a EAA Baikal, been shooting mine alot lately and love it.

GH22,
How many benellis have you had in the past. I shot mine all day today and was shooting light loads and did not jam up one time. If you clean a gun ever once in a while it want jam up.
