Try the Par 3 From Lazy Magnolia. Its geat but seriously can you really beat an ice cold Bud Light on a hot summers day? I don't think so...

had several good brews this past week in Alaska from Alaskan Brewery.

their IPA is great but their Winter Lager is the BEST i've ever drank from that style beer.

I "was told" the other day keystone and coors light come outta the same bigass tank, coors is the top half and keystone's on the bottom.

I hardly change up the beer menu but when I have I've went with a Blue Moon or Par 3.

211 ain't bad either but I don't think that was in the category of choices.

my liquor stores in arkie and their beer selections have become lack-luster at the very best, which is disappointing but i've had a few new brews this season:

sierra nevada stout and porters......ok, but nothing to write home about

breckenridge oatmeal stout.........good stuff, if you're in the mood for a dessert beer (which i rarely am). taste like a cookie/coffee mix.

had several trappists monks ales this year............reknown for beer making, i can tell you, those monks can flat out brew.

biggest surprise of the year was finding some "hobgoblin" english ale.....been looking for several years, hard to find in the states at times. anyhow, i took a pint to the counter and my money out. rung it up at over 10 bucks a pint. i smiled, grabbed another 10 spot and bought 2 pints. drank one Christmas eve and am saving the next one..................great beer.

still though, best beers i've had this year have been the alaska brewery beers. will get another taste of them next year as i've put a group together to go back and shoot some more harliquin ducks. can't wait.
