Favorite Beer
Favorite Beer
For lack of a better place to put this, I figured I would start it here. If yall haven't been to whole foods or whatever the name of the grocery store is in renaissant, they let you make your own 6 pack from about 35-40 beers they have. I was just curious as to some of yalls favorite beers, not bud, miller, coors.
so far, I have tried Birra Moretti from Italy, carta blanca from Mexico, St Pauli Girl, Paulaner, and some other one that I threw away after I took 2 sips. I like all but the one I can't remember the name of.
some of my favorites are indian summer (magnolia brewery), modelo especial, tecate, peroni, sam adams boston lager, and red stripe to name a few

like the Red Hook ESB too, and that Southern Pecan, Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat is a good summer brew too....

Re: Favorite Beer
Some of my favs are Fat Tire, most of the Seetwater series from GA, Abita Amber, Abita Turbodog, Grolsch, and Modelo to name a few
however as of late i have steered from the "exotics" and dark or ambers in favor of good ole fashioned Coors or Michelob (not light) or MGD
These are good beers that get over looked in fav of the "lights"...in fact you cant hardly find them in bars or restaurants.
Used to have a place in Merigold that sold Falstaff...not the greatest mind you but cost effective for sure.

Re: Favorite Beer
I like most all of the new belgium and abita offerings. Been drinking a lot of yazoo out of nashville lately. Also drink a lot of sam adams light. Pretty tasty for a light beer.
Re: Favorite Beer
I don't care for the fancy smancy fruity stuff or the dark beers.. I prefer the Rocky Mountain Tap water..
