its true I saw the pics. Also saw some pics of Concordia that were posted today and they had a foot of water left before entering some of their cabins. Is the levee still shut down?

levee still shut down. You will get arrested quick. Heck, YMDLB is trying to tell the Sheriff dept they cannot be on the levee. That ain't going over to well.

I posted a question earlier about a possible sand boil near Gunnison but nobody responded. I just heard it again from someone else that said there was a lot of debris coming up from it and they can't get it under control.
Not trying to start a rumor, just curious if anyone can confirm this. I realize sand boils are common but I've heard this one is pretty bad.

I wouldn't call my camp high dolla but this is as of Friday. Yes all the levees are closed around here you can't even walk on it

The sand boil was north of Gunnison at Frances. This is a post from Allison Nimrod (I'm assuming this is Mr. Peter Nimrod's wife) on the facebook page concerning flood information:
Peter has just left the Francis, Ms area. They ran into some expected challenges but DO have it contained. It was a large area that took a lot of time and diligence to complete. They will be building up berms that should be completed by tomorrow. All sand bags are in place and the sand boil has been contained and inspected by the Corp. It will continue to be monitored.

I saw some pictures from Woodstock today. It looked like you could white water raft through our camp. The water was really rushing through there. It makes me sick what might happen to all of the deer and turkey between the levees. I might have to book a midwest hunt this year.

She is a wild witch this time, but so far is cresting where predicted. Good luck to you mid and south Delta guys. We in the north Delta are swamped.

Morganza Spillway is expected to be opened between Saturday and Tuesday, and be used at 50% capacity.

Well that shows just how bad things are getting. Where is the Morganza and where will that water go.
