Damn, that name alone just sounds hard and sound like somewhat of an oxymoron. Statistics implies finite math and inference implies relative frequency.

As I said earlier I took Art Appreciation and all I got out of it was a wife. I did learn to answer every question about art with one answer. This piece represents the duality of man and his inner struggle between good and evil. Beyond that it was just a picture of a drunk naked girl as Brad Paisley sings.

Final in philosophy was a pain. Oral final with one question. Martin Luther King has just been assassinated. The public is screaming, "no justice, no peace." You can charge a drunk vagrant who had nothing to do with it and send him to the chair or admit you have no suspects in which case hundreds of innocent people will die. What do you do? After a few second of sweating bullets my answer is,"Get the Hell out of Memphis." He gave me an "A" because he said of all the BS arguments he had heard all day argue this point and that mine was the only one that really made any sense.

I used Lemay as a reference when I got out of school, super nice guy. I think he based 80% of your grade on participation, 10% on writing and grammatical proficiency and the last 10% on tests & quizzes. He was quirky but I learned more from his classes than any of my other profs combined. He's in TN now teaching somewhere I believe. Hell, he was PGM Director for a little while after Scott Whatshisface left...

Yea that class SUCKED!! We were all Ag Business majors and never had any stats class but they figured we needed that SOB!! I was happy with a min passing grade!! I still think of the horrors trying to understand the guy on top of understanding what the heck he was writing on the board!!
