How many benellis have you had in the past. I shot mine all day today and was shooting light loads and did not jam up one time. If you clean a gun ever once in a while it want jam up.

77, did you see what i said in another post, browning's and benelli's are like ford's and chevy's. As for shooting a benelli, only have done so one day. I don't like them, and have seen way more complaints about them than likes. Why buy a $1200 benelli when I can buy four 3.5" baikal's for that price??? :D Does that sbe have a light load/heavy load selector in the forearm??? I don't think so............but that baikal does........

i second that motion about the baikal--at about $300 for a synthetic gas 3.5 auto, you just can't beat the value--and it flat out works--liked my wood-stocked one so much from last season that i had to have a synthetic one for this year, both work flawlessly

Hey I would like to check out one of these baikal. Is there a dealer located anywhere near Jackson that carries them?

cbrown, you should be able to go to mean mallard or the outfitters to get one special ordered, they should have it in their books, just ask if they deal with eaa corp firearms.

Thanks GH22, I just talked to the Outfitter and they said it would be a while before they could get ahold to one. Great Southern here in Pearl said they could get it for $359.00. I am still waiting to hear from the Mallard. The guy at Great Southern really spoke well of these guns. He said he repairs more benelli than he does the baikal.

I cant see how someone could be an expert just shooting a gun one time that is pretty damn good. If you hve never owned one how can you be a against something some much. Money does not matter it is what I want not want everyone else wants.

Benelli...No problems whatsoever with either one..the pump or the Super 90...I had an 11-87...sold after one season..wouldn't eject light loads at all.. and if you shot one or two boxes through it, it wouldn't eject the heavy loads... I literally hated the Remington.

Shooting a Benelli is like driving a fine luxury car...it sure feels good. If you can afford it then I say go with the Benelli...got lucky on my Super 90...$600.00 at my buddy's pawn shop....looked like it had never been shot.

IMO

Just like I said earlier, not everyone gets ahold of an sbe that works flawlessly. A lot of people love the bgh's...but I've got a buddy that has to spray it with foam cleaner every 6th shell that he shoots in the gun, and it isn't gunked up and dirty, clean inside, just hates light loads with a passion. Just remember why the sure cycle system was created........for the light loading hating sbe.......

cbrown, gunbroker.com and auctionarms.com usually have a few for sale for around 300--you can buy directly from seller but it must be shipped to your dealer--search "baikal" then look for mp-153

I have an 11-87 SP probably just like the one you have and it will not eject light loads. I got to looking and on the side of the barrel it reads " not intended for light loads." So I do not know if there is much that you can do. It will shoot them but it will not kick them out.

The Benelli Super 90 has never had the problems that the SBE has. Everyone I know that has the Super 90 loves it. Can't say the same about the SBE.

Remmingtons are pretty much..........garbage. Just got my 870 from the G-smith. I haveonly had 2 and had problemswith both. That doesnt help you though. My Remmington wont eject low brass andthe g-smith said he sho hates it. Nothing he could do. Had a Rem deer rifle, couldnt hit #$%&. Problem with the barrell float or somekinda garbage. Im done with 'em. Browning and Benelli from now on.

It's a duck hunting sin to even mention a browning with a SBE in the same sentance(or conversation for that matter)Gotta go get ready for hunt test at Old Hatchie this weekend but I couldn't resist when I read guys posting comparisons such as Browning and some $350 disposable foriegn gun with the SBE.
