From my experience protection usually fits tighter, usually doesn't make it any long enough to make a difference on the receiving end. But in the grand scheme of things protection is always wise.dukhntn wrote:I'm looking at 18650 batteries. Some come with and some come without protection. Those with protection are a little longer.
