Yep, that's the team I was generally thinking about as well. The Warren Central guys had a few that did it as well.
what time frame? as far as im concerend the WC program went to hell when they discontinued the blue striped game socks, added white game pants and allowed names to be added to the back of jerseys.

I was referring to 98-01. I think WC program went down after the Newton twins, Tankersly, and Coach Temple left. I wish I had the opportunity to play for Temple. I like a tough coach. Wish there were more of them these days.

for some reason i was thinking football and that dude on "the program" that had his face painted. i was having a hard time believing that the wc footbal players were allowed to were eyeblack and facepaint. now baseball on the other hand, while i didnt see it, i could certainly believe it.

I played at WC from 97-01 and yes we loved to go ninja. Temple got everything he could out of his players and is a great coach.

as much as it pains me to say, this dude got straight worked by Ole Miss in the Cotton Bowl. Then when he realized he couldn't beat them on the field, he tried to fight everybody

Hated seeing Lawrence paint his face like that. Hey Rice, what did coach Hevesy think about him doing that? He don't seem like the type of coach that would like that kind of stuff.
