Speaking of Duck Ninjas
Speaking of Duck Ninjas
Anyone been watching any high school baseball? Now instead of putting eye black under their eyes, they are smearing it all the way down the side of their face. Now we have baseball ninjas.
Re: Speaking of Duck Ninjas
Yea...been noticing that myself, even seen a couple go full face blackout.
Are we gonna get wet?
Re: Speaking of Duck Ninjas

Re: Speaking of Duck Ninjas

Re: Speaking of Duck Ninjas
I remember doing it and using a Louisville Slugger Warrior bat.
A man who won't has no advantage over the man who can't.
Re: Speaking of Duck Ninjas
Guess I am late to the party. Now that I have a kid in Dixie Youth I am paying attention to baseball again. Not a fan of the black face painting.
Re: Speaking of Duck Ninjas
I remember guys doing that back in HS. J.P. and crew at NWR would do the face/war paint for games.
Re: Speaking of Duck Ninjas
Kids starting doing that in football when I was in high school (97). Coach saw it and said, "Hey Fred you look like a trucking dumbazz. What happened did your boyfriend shiz on your face?!". Fred didnt wear it after that Haha
Re: Speaking of Duck Ninjas
Yep, that's the team I was generally thinking about as well. The Warren Central guys had a few that did it as well.woody wrote:I remember guys doing that back in HS. J.P. and crew at NWR would do the face/war paint for games.

And the winner is.......

It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
Re: Speaking of Duck Ninjas
the old matte finish Warrior that was black/silver...best bat ever made! I still have one of the rare 32.5/29.5 sizes.Rice wrote:I remember doing it and using a Louisville Slugger Warrior bat.
Re: Speaking of Duck Ninjas
a lot of the catholic school or church based private schools around here do a cross on their face, and they get pretty artistic with it...like the straight line under the eye being the cross bar and a straight line going down the cheek...it's actually pretty inventive and cool looking I think, given the nature of their teams association

Re: Speaking of Duck Ninjas
sounds like a much better idea than "murdering out" one's face, but how do you get artistic out of two straight lines making a cross?camlock wrote:a lot of the catholic school or church based private schools around here do a cross on their face, and they get pretty artistic with it...like the straight line under the eye being the cross bar and a straight line going down the cheek...it's actually pretty inventive and cool looking I think, given the nature of their teams association
