I've seen pics of several different ones from afar, but not clear on the details. Is that just finish nails in a staggered pattern and you just stab the side of the head into the nail or what? Yours is the first one I've seen that orient the ducks this way. Most of them look like they just stick them under the bill or something. I've even seen them where it appears that they drilled holes to stick the duck bills into. Just looking for different ideas. Would like to see some others as well.
Sorry for he hijack Wil & Ted.
Staggered finish nails. The nails go through the nostrils to hang the duck. The nails on each row of this board are 4" apart and they're too close. I'm going to try spacing them about 6" apart.

I got the idea from Ty. Here's the plans from mine. Mine is wider than David's so although isn't near as bad, mallards can get kind of tight on the board. If you only put 24 nails on the board however, you could space them out to 7 2/8 (3 5/8 btw nails on different rows). Also put a pic with board full of big ducks so you know what spacing looks like.

Damn Auburn guys trying to act smarter than us Mississippi boys. I knew what ya meant. I read it as 3 5/8 on different rows which would come out to be 7 1/4 spacing on each row. Is that right?

Nahh, It's really clean to be the end of the season, I thought. Btw I appreciate you letting us use it for the night. We cleaned up the best we could. Look forward to stacking em up the last couple days of the season. - Wil
