snow goose band

here recently i was own my land duck hunting and a flock of geese flew over, about four of us shot and we only hit one goose. However the goose we shot happened to have a band on it. What i am wanting to know is there some type of reward for a banded bird.

Not unless the band says, "reward". There should be a 800 number to call to report it.

Did the bird have a neck band? The banded snow geese I've shot have had neck bands also.

The goose had a banded neck. I have repeatedly tried to call the number but the line is always busy. And I hate waiting on the phone.
