I squandered perfect opportunities on does Friday and Saturday afternoon. Won't happen again...... So far, had 11 does come right by me and I haven't fired the first shot. I mean they were skillet shots!

Never heard of a "bow" season. What is the limit and how do they taste in a gumbo?

I've been sidelined this year, Been training dogs so much that I haven't had a chance to do anything. Plus a friend of mine had been badgering me for a couple of years to buy my bow from me..since I wasn't gonna use it anyway I sold it to him. Gonna get a matthews anyway so it was a good deal for me. Seen plenty of deer hanging at the deer processing place on 57 a little east of Moscow, Tn and saw several being brought in to glenns deer processing in Moscow. Saw 1 good buck hanging at the processing place east of Moscow...Its kinda in the community called 45 any of you familiar with that part of the country will know where I'm talking about. Saw 4 does on Woodlawn plantation in LaGrange and 1 small buck in Rogers Springs which is between Saulsbury and Middleton.

Haven't even bent my stick this year. Bought a new bow last spring, then got tendinitis in my elbow so bad I can't even think about it! "I'm too young to feel this damn old."
But, gun season starts a week from Sat. and I ain't so stove up that I can't pull the trigger!

I got a 185-lb, 7 point opening evening. Not real wide but tall rack. Pretty decent bow-kill for management area.

I have been most every afternoon after work. I have seen deer everytime on stand around 6:30. I a hit on doe that would have gone 150 lb+. Never found never bleed bad luck bad hit I think it was high in shoulder. I saw a huge buck looking for her. Now thats all I am hunting. He looked to be in 140-150 class. Tall with lots of mass. I'll post pics if I get him.
