Went Scouting this weekend and saw Canadas, Mallards, Woodies Blacks, GWT and BWT. The grass on the meadows right now is about 8 feet tall. When the season gets primed here it will be about 3 feet tall because much has fallen down or been knocked down. The high blinds (Averys ,Mudbuddies, etc) don't do well up here. We mostly hunt from 12-14' One Man sneak Boxes. They are usuasally wood/glass over or the modern ones are mostly all glass. They virtually disappear. Here is a pic of mine before the new paint job and grassing. Once I get it completely grassed I'll post pics. I'll also get some afield so you can see (not see) it in action.

Mine is all glass (except for a wood florr and wood stringers, they are all encased in glass though).. I run a 25 Johnson on it and it runs about 35-40. It is 12' long and has about 6 inches of free board. Here is a pic with the flapper boards up.[/url]

Here is a pic with the flaps down. This is how you run the boat to your spot. You put the flaps up once you get set up and want to hide.]http://www.refugeforums.com/refuge/attachment.php?s=&postid=1268430Image

Great looking boat...

Say that reminds me When I was younger, before I ever even owned a boat. I was determined to buy a similar looking boat. TDB. The Duck Boat. Used to be advertised in LL Bean. My 1985 LL Bean Fall catalog has the 14 footer listed for $2750.

I'd still like to have one one day.

That's a stout looking outboard. Do you race that thing in the off season?
