My place is south of Greenwood, and I was wondering if anyone has been out in that area and seen any. I bowhunted in the rain for an hour Sun. morning, and saw a few, but really wasn't in a good area to see many ducks. Had to go home after that. 18days till opener, and not sleeping well already, someone give me a good report for that area.

I saw a good many birds last week in a rice field. The ducks were walking over to an adjacent corn field and trying their best to knock the corn off of the stalk.

Feedcall, I've been there every weekend and am seeing a few more birds each week. I hope to see much larger numbers this weekend. Our lease is about a 40 acre bean and millet field. Its starting to attract lots of local birds... as well as a few "new" birds. I'm getting good reports from a buddy two states north that says the birds are there in large numbers. I have a feeling that if the water levels will stay "OK" we should have a better than expected season....

I am around Sidon, and we need it to quit raining. I am getting some reports from around Belzoni of new birds showing up the last few days, and I am hoping we're getting them where we are. If it keeps raining it is going to be like last year, and they are going to be so spread out it will be tough to hunt.
