I may be wrong but I belive you are pushing the law a little far.

If you are on a creek on public land, once the creek passes onto private land that does not give you the right to tresspass on to that property.

If the levee is owned by him then he owns the lake

I disagree, there are a lot of watershed lakes here in Rankin county and they are all on private land.

If there is a creek on public land and it flows onto YOUR private property, you are saying that if the public can come down the creek they have the right to cut your fence and do as they please on your property?

I have been on the water shed with some friends before on the other side of it and its unreal the ducks there...and they always seem to work perfect and cuff into ur decoys...and u can almost limit everytime if u can shoot well...but its like this I have permission to go to one spot but to get it I have to cross the "greedy old man" and he wont even let me do that???

It's a private lake that is fed by runoff from creeks in the area. Nothing public about it.

but its not owned by just one person its owned by about 6?? Some are greedy and some are not with the land...it just so happens the greedy own it around the edge so you can't get to the part thats owned by the people that dont mind.

I believe the rule is if you can't access it through public land or through permission of one of the bordering landowners you're trespassing. Now a stream is public so who knows.

Well we hunt alot of watersheds, all are public if you get permission to access it from a landowner then you can hunt the entire watershed. Or that is what we have been told. I would think if it was a public watershed and you accessed it by public waterway you would be legal. As long as you did not tresspass putting in on the public waterway. Might want to contact a warden.
