Are y'all seeing many wood ducks this year? The places I hunted, in years past, were covered up with woodies to the point they were almost nuisances. This year, I bet I saw maybe 10 wood ducks flying. It continues a trend of fewer woodies that I have noticed for several years now. That really concerns me.
What about you guys?

Is there any other kind of duck?
If it weren't for woodies I wouldn't have a season. I don't notice any less.
I do notice that they do not stand hunting pressure and move.

Saw more this year in the early season than the past three seasons. They bugged out around Christmas. Only seen a few since then. Went to a spot where they always roost throughout the season just to check it out. No ducks at the roost.
