98-49

Maybe if that Frazier kid was healthy, the score might have been within 20 points.

Happy Hunting! :D

I'm sure Salsbury Steak would have pulled his starters.

He is a class act all they way

You got whopped....I'd be pointing the finger in another direction. Perhaps towards the "we aren't so good" corner.

that was ugly, so ugly we were laughing by the 10 minute mark in the second. we were taking bets on if they would get beat by 50.

I have to say that was some incredible shooting by Alabama. State just does not match up well on the peremeter with Alabama. But man anything they threw up beyond the three went in. I thought Gottfried did try to run up the score. I'm not sure Stansbury wouldn't have done the same, there is not much love lost between the two. Still there was not much comparison between the teams last night and I don't know if State can handle Alabama at home this year, just because of the matchups. But I doubt that Alabama will have another shooting day like last night. If they do they will go far in the tournament. Hopefully State will be able to return the favor soon.

Webb, We haven't heard much from you lately! Where you been buddy?

I've wanting to ask you a question. Do you consider the Minnesota football program in the "Upper Tier" ? :P :P

It's good that you've decided to come back and talk sports since that brutal bowl season is over. :D

Web, you, along with your coach, must have forgotten the fact that the next time we play it will be in Starkville. We aren't as bad as we played, and yall aren't as good as yall played. We will win on our home court.

I doubt that ducks and bucks. We might as well go ahead and admit it right now. Without Frazier the dawgs are only half as good. Without him not only do they lose great shooting, but they lose great defense and great ball control not to mention leadership. Any three players at state combined, not including Roberts, can't replace Frazier on the court. Roberts is good, but he aint gonna win playing by himself. He'll be like Reed was at ole miss last year, one guy trying to do it all.

Oh yea, who's the tallest guy in history who can't jump..........and they said he was getting better.....NOT!!

i aint pointin no fangers weedmaster... first ya'll played a hell of a game. but com'on why did he still have the starters in the game??? i think he got a little upset when shane power fouled whatever that dudes name was from bama.. yes it was ruled an intentional foul but he honestly made a play on the ball..

yes your right were not that "great" right now... no where near as good as last years team... our guards are so small that the good teams will expose this weakness very quickly...

i'm sold on bama.. i think anything less that at least a trip to the sweet 16 will be a letdown for this team... coach godfrieed just needs to stay the hell outta the way and let that 3 headed monster of shelton, winston, and davis go to work...

good luck it looks like it'll be bama and uk comin down the stretch..

right now i'm not sure if state will even make the tourney.....

My thoughts exactly bigwater. Bama and UK are the teams to beat right now in the SEC.

Webb, We haven't heard much from you lately! Where you been buddy?

I've been in MS hunting ducks. What a season!

Do you consider the Minnesota football program in the "Upper Tier" ?

No I don't.

But do you consider a total of 13 or so wins in 4 years worthy of anything?
How did State fair in their bowl game?

go24: "I have no logical argument, my team got spanked, and my football team is horrible...but the Minnesota bowl game should teach him!"

It's good that you've decided to come back and talk sports since that brutal bowl season is over.

The sports forum is down and like I said, I have been hunting ducks. I'm not like some people...I can dish it out, but I'll take the heat as well.

Bitter much? Roll Tide Roll!

Now, onto serious BBall talk...
Bama may have had its best game of the season last night. I expect the game in Starkville to be a completely different one.

College bball is all about peaking at the right time. Bama played its best of the season in the NCAA tourny last year. I'm sure we'll find a way to choke it down the road.

well then heck the sweet 16 maybe a dissapointment to some of the bama nation. but for the most part any program that makes it to the sweet 16 should be proud of their accomplishments.. now their are some upper tier programs that wouldn't be happy with anything xecpt the final 4.. programs like duke, kentucky, u know the traditional basketball powers. UNC, UCLA, Arizona, Syracuse... those are the type schools that expect more than just the sweet 16..

bama doesn't fit into the above mentioned.. i personally think they should be happy with a sweet 16 apperence.. if they get futher great...
