Wrong sbe glen... Theres 2 of them now, keep up. Thats sbe(2), and he musta not gotten whut he wanted for Christmas. hehe.
Instead of touting one owner with 3 dogs that is trying to get an hr title, why not use better examples? Double t brit labs owns an uh hrch dog thats got 375 ukc points, been to 4th series of the la grand, and 3 rd series of 2 other grands. A fellow named mark owns a brit dog that is quailifed all age at 3 years old, as well as a hrch & I belive a mh as well. Bobby Stewart owns an hrch brit dog. I think marty said he got a senior hunter on one this past season. All of these (that I have seen at least) are very talented dogs, quite capable of playing the game... and all of these are exceptions, not the rule. They are a flagship sure, but defiently not something you want to throw up as proof.
I saw a 3 legged half deaf choclate dog smoke a seasoned test one time... doesnt mean I went looking for one. travis

I am the good looking one
I will tell ya out front, "I don't know jack shat about black dogs"
i am also learning that I know less and less about training.

You guys are never going to stop bustin my chops are you? Tough crowd. But, I do love a good debate, especially one about dogs since so many of us confuse our own opinions for fact. Goose you were dead on about not getting what I wanted for christmas, no ducks, had to leave early, but I did get an invigorating gush of very cold water in my newly torn waders.

Other than that had a very enjoyable holiday. Hope you all are having the same, only more success with the ducks

Oh yeah gator I read about them, they are the ones that are born naturally trained to hunt ducks and when the hunt is over they fold up and fit into your coat pocket until the next hunt. if you find out where to get one let me know.

man owns FTCH dog. british. black. male.
man owns HRCH dog. british. black. male.
man owns HR dog. british. black. male.
man admits FTCH dog can not keep up with HRCH dog or HR dog, no matter the game.
difference.....
the training. the high dollar FTCH from the england pro looked like the same bumbling 100 pound idiot from before when put into a situation he's never been properly prepared for. but of course the HRCH or HR would prolly be squirrel brained by chasing rabbits and chukkars your friend is trying to beat from a bush with a stick.
can't compare apples and oranges, but you can make fruit salad with both.

No here.... I already mentioned ft lines are the MOST selective breeding their is, and thats the basis for the labs as we know it and the reason we can choose such wonderful talented animals.
A brit fc? Naw, never happen. If there ever was a brit dog talented enough to do it, it'd never end up in the right hands to do it, cause anyone serious enough to play the game goes with enough horsepower and dog flesh from the get go. You don't show up to a gun fight with a knife. travis

You right about that, if a brit ever gets a FC or AFC...I'll quit.

i hope one does. only problem is, it'll end up on some corny dux with rufus and buk lame show, or have a logo on its forehead, and all of a sudden be the kewlest thing going, next to wal-mart of coarse.
natural order of things:
for every good accomplishment made, there's an idiot who'll ruin it by chasing money with it
