Been hunting ducks for 8 years, and killed 1 greenhead. I killed 2 wood ducks with one shot earlies that morning, then tripled on the mallards, one was banded.....I didn't wait around for my limit. Figured I couldn't get much better on that day!
That is the only one I have ever seen killed....

gonna try and change that around September/October right?
I try to change it each time I hunt! gator been holding back the band mojo this year. But you're right - September 22, 2008 might be the ticket!

I have 3 but been dry for 4-5 years. (All Mallards) Funny story. I was hunting with 2 other guys and they gave me all the birds at the end of the day. When I got home to clean them, I found a band on a teal. I knew I hadn't shot a teal so I called them up to let them fight it out. I couldn't believe they hadn't noticed.

been 2 or 3 more in the group I was hunting with. There were some heated discussions about who actually shot the duck

I believe it was 1:100 mallards killed back a few years ago, but now it seems to be fewer bands. Had heard they banded more gadwall this year but I see no evidence of it as of yet...and there has been alot of gadwall killed in my area

Last band I killed was from an outfit in Oklahoma. Gave it to a buddy who had a computer at the time and I did not. Thought he may find out something about it. Haven't really thought anymore of it. Anyone else ever see a band from some outfit in Oklahoma? May have been Alabama? Have killed 11 or so mallards with bands and a wood duck and a teal.
