Just for nostalgia purposes, a buddy of mine and I use to hunt York woods in jeeps many years ago. Old man York was constantly trying to catch us.

The York Woods caretaker I know is Mackinvale (sp?).
Buy a good piece of ground and put your heart into it.

Don't know where Mackinvale is now. He may still be there working for Kennedy.

One of the caretakers that was over there, got caught poaching a deer of of us last year I think. I think they may have fired him.

If that really happened... (I don't know). I would find it hard to believe that a manager/ caretaker of such a cherry property (York) which has deer running around like a bunch of rabbits, would shoot a deer on someone else's property.

While there is some big deer in the area of York Woods, I do not think of it as a place that holds a "bunch" of deer, just a "bunch" of ducks....and coons :lol:
