personally,
we've got alot of depth, one fo the better recieving groups in the nation, not a bad running game. We don't JUST have the best QB in the nation. I think Manning and our passing game will do alot more opening up the LSU defense to our run than LSU's defense will do making us one demensional. Manning reads the blitz to well to run it on him all night long. Also, we have one of the better O-lines in the nation as far as giving up sacks, so that will help. IF LSU blitzes aggresively, the defense is gonna be picked apart. Nothing against LSU's D, but it's only mathematical, you bring 8 or 9 guys on a blitz, somebody's gonna be open. The 2 difficult games LSU has had all year they got beat once and almost lost to UGA. You say that we beat AU by luck, but that last pass to skylar green against the bulldogs was pretty lucky if you ask me. Our D has gotten alot stronger since giving up the 600 yards passing to Texas Tech. You wanna talk about Arks. best runnign backs being hurt is why we held them to so few points, our best tailback has been hurt most of the year too. Oh Yea, we've got 4 excellent backs too, Turner, Pearson, and Townsend and Jacobs have all run and caught the ball well the past few weeks, not to mention Razz is one of the best blocking backs in the SEC. LSU overuses their blitz, we win. I don't see Mauck and the LSU O putting up huge numbers, nor do i see the UM O doing it either. The game comes down to this, if our secondary can create turnovers like they did against Florida, we win. Oh Yea, as far as my prediction, i think the # 1 kicker in the SEC Mr. Jonathan Nichols well lead us to victory.

Well, I'm gonna throw my .02 in...This is a huge game for both teams..LSU could play for the NC...Ole Miss could win their first west title and quite possibly the SEC championship..This should be a great ballgame. IMHO, all year everybody said Ole Miss just can't get it done, Saturday they will get it done!
Ole Miss 28
LSU 24

Lets see.... We were lucky to beat Vandy; We caught Florida before they were good; We beat a down Bama; Arkansas RB were hurt; SC would have beat us if they had one more possession; and we got lucky to beat Auburn.
Does that about sum it up, Tiger fans?
We might be the 1st team in history to win their conference without doing anything
So when lsu comes to Oxford and gets beat, what will be the excuse?
And I believe yall have been favored to win every game for the pass few years.... but that doesn't explain why we've won 4 out of the last 6 uh. Including 3 straight I believe at lsu. Heck I think we have to pay property taxes on yall's stadium.

seems to me like everyone thinks that this is the same Ole Miss team from last year........no run defense, no blocking. Maybe no one's noticed but i think they have improved greatly in both. I can't say that they're going to win, but i sure won't say they will lose. LSU has a great deal of talent to deal with, but so didi Florida who always has top notch talent. this will be closer thatn the majority thinks. The defense has stepped up big in several games this year; maybe they'll do it again. Go Rebs!

LSU-10
UM-6
This prediction could change, however, depending on the number of Denalis and Escalades handed out before game time.

DUCKS AND BUCKS unless you have been sleeping. LSU won last year in Baton Rouge. You can spin it anyway you want. Ole Miss has won 4 out of the last 6, but LSU has won 2 out of the last 3. LSU won in Oxford in 2000, Ole Miss won in Baton Rouge in 2001, and LSU won last year in Baton Rouge (2002).
If you are going to talk stats learn them first!
