I've probably had 15+ pair of Justin plain kipskin brown ropers in my lifetime. All style 3802 size 11E. Most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I've got several pairs of other Justins, but 3802's are by far the most comfortable. I need leather soles, as the crepe soled stuff doesn't have the stability I need. Apparently they quit making 3802, and the closest Justin roper I could find on the net was style 3404 calfskin and they are made in MEXICO. Last pair of those I'll ever own...so stiff the tops feel like 4" PVC sewer pipe on my legs.....think I'm about to send these back to Justin. Go with a Justin other than style 3404.

Almost all I wear are Double H boots, except my dress boots. I just bought a pair of the 12" Gel Ice Work Westerns and they are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned.

If work boots i like Geaorgia the farma nd ranch waterproof ones have outlasted Justins so far. Justins usually last me about 6 months. These have been almost a year.

I have a nice pair of ariats that are real comfortable and fairly affordable. I use them for riding horses, casual wear, and clean them up to wear as dress boots. If you want a real nice pair of dress boots and will spend the money the best pair of boots would be Luccheses.
