Thank you very much, Mr. Ramsey. That very enjoyable and touching story just made my day, and I appreciate it.

Jacksbuddy, his dad having libations while telling stories reminds me of your dad. I'm going to tell it.

Your dad and I decided to have an evening gentlemans hunt on your farm. I worked in the ducks and we took turns. Your dad killed a hen and I laughed. The next in I dropped 3 greenheads and he just shook his head and said I was young once.

Next group in your dad drops a hen and a drake. I told him nice shot. Next I drop a drake.

The hunt lasted about 40 minutes and afterwards your Dad asked if I would care for a "light liabation". Me growing up in the country did not have the foggiest idea of what he was asking.

I told him I might if it did'nt require me taking off my pants.

Your dad looked at me oddly and just fell out laughing and said Torch would you care for a drink.

One of my many hunts with your dad that I have enjoyed.

I've heard that story - - with embellishments. Get him to tell you about Benoit, and you might just get yourself another toddy or two. 8)

Torch,

Thats is EXACTLY the kind of stories we shared year after year around the hearth. Thanks, I might have to use that line sometime.

We all have great stories like this. Maybe I will reopen my owm virtual firseside story tellers lounge? Got to wait and see if this job pans out first, might be a confict of interests? But I migh be able to work something out even so.

Thanks everyone for your comments and stories.

Wonderful story. Match it with others and some of your photos and I'd buy the book for sure.
