Three of us hunted this morning killed one. We also hunted Wed. and killed 3. Last Saturday killed one. Something bad wrong. Too cold not to see some ducks. Been over there all day since this morningsaw four groups of ducks all day. None with more than five in it. Don't know if to blame DU or the full moon or the duck gods. Figured they may be feeding at night with the full moon, might get some late morning ducks. Nope. This sucks.

In Drew this morning got 3 limits, no mallards, gads, woodys, and wigens. done by 7:15. The ducks where trying to land on the ice, didn't use any dekes. My first hunt of the year, it was a blast!!
