No,... but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night !

Very good !

I'm always game for a hunt ! ANYWHERE, ANYTIME !
You name it !

I know it's a tad bit early,....but,.....(always a but),...... What do you see the Tide doing this time.
I'd give you my spill, on M$U, (as you like to call it), but unfortunately,... Croom, being a first year coach, your analysis is probably as good , or better than mine.

Gonna be nice to see A GROUP OF YOUNG MEN, Take the field for a change,... instead of thugs !
Yes I know it's the same group as last year,..... Which in turn, should show, that the problem, WAS at the top.

In Jackies defense,.... If my Mother and Brother died.,,,,, Then my wife were diagnosed with cancer,.... in a short time period,..... I doubt my mind would be on football either.

Just a bad situation,....and one I pray, I never find myself in !

That's just the closure, I have put on the whole ordeal !

As MSDuckmen likes to say,....... Better Tomorrow !

Boys, Its going to take more than Croom to save MSU. You Mississippi boys kill me  Ya'll got juco ball down to an artform, but why is that, cuz they can't spell out of high school. And if they can be taught how to write, some big school picks them off. If you boys are so concerned for graduation rates, rout for Vanderbilt, oh wait, they are perennial losers, can't do that now can we, Here at Ark, we are putting the pieces into place to rightfully claim our spot in the limelight back, An awesome studium renovation that blows most studiums away, a new, largest in the country weight room, a practice complex that makes the pros jealous complete with natural grass and the new artifical turf thats all the rage on the outside and a fully functional indoor practice facility. Guys, it comes down to this, you can have a great salesman, we piggie fans have the Right Reverend Nutt, but you best have a product and the simple fact is that ya'll are always playing catch up and resort to cheating to overcome this only to achieve average at best. Good luck, but I get the feeling that except for a year here and there, your the bottom of the west, while the rest will take turns on top and national greatness. If only Vanderbilt was in the west, A gimme conference game that Ark never gets to play, you boys might have some hope, but playing tight games with Memphis not Texas and OK is your destiny, enjoy. But things could be worse, you could be Alabama, now thats a team thats fallen from grace.

Gumbo, first let me state that I am not and never will be a Hog fan. With that said, I was on the campus of Arkansas last week and went by the stadium. Wow, major improvement.. it's a great looking place with the largest scoreboard and screen I've ever seen at a college field. The place was impressive. I noticed alot of ongoing improvements and new buildings around the stadium.

I guess it doesn't hurt to have 3 Fortune 500 companies sitting in your back yard. Wal-Mart, Tyson foods and JB Hunt must be giving out the wazoo to the university. As a SEC fan, job well done in that department. I may even try to get back up there and see a game.

Deadeye, you would be surprized that most of those contributions are mainly for academics, little big time money goes to the atheletic dept. the Exceptions being 15 million from Sam's late brother Bud for Walton Arena, around half of the costs and the Hunt indoor track facility, the premier indoor facility in the nation hosting both the NCAA championships and pro events. The rest are from local benefactors like the Donald W. Reynolds Fondation and the Buam family. We have over the past decade developed some of the best facilaties in the collegiate world hands down, all without tax payer maoney, if fact the athelitic dept recives no money from the state to operate, its self sufficeint, not many universities can claim not spending some tuition or student fees to support the athelitic programs or tax dollrs from the state, but Ark can.

Buam stadium- top notch baseball field, voted #1 by Baseball America for college ball

JB Hunt Indoor track Facility, again best venue in college sports. BWT a top notch track team helps football recruiting tremedeously, thats how we put so many DB's in the pros.

Reynold Razorback Stadium, 75,000 and expandible, truly top notch.

Bud Walton Arena, one of the best college basketball courts, period, hands down. 20,000 in your face, South Carolina liked it so much they nearly carbon copied it  The Basketball Palace of MidAmerica!

Barnhill Arena, once, one of the most feared places to play in basketball, now a top notch vollyball and gymnastics facility

Heck, the girls softball field is better than most mens fields in the country

B- 4
C- 10

With all that "cash flow" in Fayetville(sp),...... Why can't you guys win the Western division, at least every other year ?
A- Houston Nutt spends all his "game prep" time, rewinding the movie, DELIVERANCE, to his favorite part,...... LET ME HEAR YA SQUEAL LIKE A PIGGIE !
B- Houston Nutt spends all his spare time, tryin to teach Noland Richardson the words to ,... WE SHALL OVERCOME !?!?
C-That Bill Clinton/ Monica Lewinski thing still has yall shook up ?

Best bet for you is that maybe one day,... they will re-start the Southwestern Conf. !!!!

Ah chit, you done started it now

Best record overall in the SEC West (98-03) W48-L27

Best home record in SEC(98-03) W34-L7

Tied with most bowl appearances with 6 with Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee

And for your Academics SEC ALL HONOR ROLL (99-02)
1. Vanderbilt 106
2. Kentucky 84
3. Arkansas 73
4. Ole Miss 71
10. Miss St

National Championship 1
SWC championships 13
SEC Western Division Championships 95, 98, 02
how many does any Miss school have?

17 consecutive road non conference wins
more than seven televised games per year
48 overall victories under Nutt, most in SEC WEST

Series record against Ole Miss 26-23-1 , Miss St 8-5-1 8 out of last 9

Like I said, you boys wll aways be the bottom rung, it's hard to accept I know, but as soon as you get that through your head it will be ok.

And for this year, the toughest schedule in the nation, with one returner on offense but I suspect we will sweep the Miss schools and finish with a good enough record (better than ya'lls) to again go bowling, again without playing Vandy.

As most of us know football players aren't the brightest when it comes to school.......so the academic honor roll doesn't mean much.......should go by athletic graduation rate......and I believe I'm right when saying State is ahead of both Ark and Ole Miss in that category?

At least Arkansas can say they do lead the SEC in one category......most drug and alcohol arrests in a football program...
