That test is pretty dated.. They have come out with a whole line of 410 self defense rounds now. The Judge also now handles 3" shells. I know a 410 is not the optimal defense round, but a revolver is the easiest action to operate and if some bad guy comes calling late at night and your wife, mother, daughter or sister is home alone and is scared. 3 36 caliber lead balls into said bad guy's gut is better than a 9mm round in the wall. I promise you if a bad guy comes in and you put 2 or 3 rounds of about 50 #4 pellets into his face from accross the room, he will think twice about coming after you. And just in case that does not stop him, 2 45 caliber long colts will.

I load my 357 with 1 round of rat shot and then 4 self defense rounds and tell my wife that if she is home alone and someone comes into the house to get behind the bed and aim for the door. If they guy comes into the room, aim directly at his face and fire the rat shot. The next 4 rounds go center mass..
