Black squirrels?

Black squirrels?

My son and I would like to kill one of the black squirrels to mount. We are in Tupelo.....I know they are in the delta region. Which WMA would give us the best chance?

Definately Sunflower. I hunted it twice this season. Limited out both times and killed black squirrels both times.

I had only seen a handful of black squirrels in my life up until recently. I just moved about 6 months ago and there is a whole family of black squirrels running around my new neighborhood. They are everywhere except for my yard. I am still waiting on one to f**k up and come into my yard.

So I am curious, why is ok for you guys to post up WMA information on squirrel but everyone spazzes when duck info is posted up. Is it because you do not squirrel hunt? Would you be ok with squirrel hunters posting duck info on public forums?

If I deerhunted there alot, like some guys I know, they wouldn't find it too comforting to know that 50-11 skirrl(yeah thats how I meant to spell it) hunters are headed that way to jack up the deer hunting.

Im with you! Skirl hunters be messins up huntins fo da deer hunters, but thats ok?

P.S. Blacks squirrels hang around the edge of flooded timber, so if you find a good duck hole just wait the squirrels will be everywhere
