taxidermist

Anybody know of a good waterfowl taxidermist in north Mississippi? I know of several around Jackson, but would prefer not to drive that far if I didn't have to. Thanks.

What about some good ones around Jackson?
I've got 2 in the freezer, and don't know where I'm going to take them yet.

Send them to Shane Smith in northern Alabama. Shane mounts about 1500 waterfowl annually, is priced comparable to the others and is the best bar-none. To each their own, but I like a duck expert to mount my ducks.

If you are familiar with the now defunct Beartail Outfitters.... Ted Addison in Southaven did all the mounting for their clients. He is a young guy but does amazing work. He did a banded greenhead for me that was really cool...
Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, count to ten, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you wouldn't look good in prison stripes... and just smile at that dumbass and walk away.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Lamar in boyle is still open. I think he quit about 6 months to a year ago.

Hey chopper, I just got a widgeon back from Jimmy McGuire in Clinton. He did a jam up job on mine and has done quality work for a bunch of my buds. He charges $145 for a duck, I think. His # is 601-924-3393. I was really impressed with the work he did for me.
