Too much flash in that deer's face (eyes look like pic was taken at night)
The deer may be legit, hunter may be legit,... The pic,... I think is a spoof !
Camera man that took this pic had a bright light to his right. ( brow tine shadow, on hunters chest) !
Also looks like some degree of flash in hunters face.... leaves you with ...if pic is real,.... WHY DIDN'T IT WASH AWAW THE BROW TINE SHADOWS !!!

PIC. = BS

Ahhhhhhhh...... detective for a day !

Ain't it fun ?

Sorry Mr. Feedcall, take a closer look !
No doubt.... Its' a dead deer !
No doubt..... It's a happy hunter ( I would be too ! )
They just don't belong on that pic. at the same, place and time ! :D

You guys are fishing a little too intensly. His dad took the pic of this deer out on their land. If Waldo is in the background somewhere then I don't see it. It isn't unusual for these guys to kill a deer like this. They have killed lots of enormous deer over the years. There are many pics of this whole family with trophies all over the country in Swann's gun shop. The deer is at Ellis taxidermy, but I guess if they used a flash then it didn't happen. Come on guys, it is a deer picture.

It's real. Talked to someone at a party this weekend that knows this guys Dad. The deer is really that big and really dead. They claim that they wanted to keep this quiet to minimize poachers on their hunting land. However, three different people emailed this picture to me last Friday. Guess they did a pretty bad job of keeping it quiet.

These negative comments about a magnificent animal are exactly what is wrong with the hunting community. The guy who killed the deer is a friend of mine, and his family is probably one of the most generous and honest families that I know. People like the doctor are the reason they wanted to keep this quiet. Why is it that when somebody kills a really big deer it has to be illegal or shady. I will tell you in one word- jealousy. This deer is as legitimate as they come. I asked him why he doesnt want to enter this deer in a contest, and now, i know why. Doctor, instead of calling this a fake, why dont you go to Catfish point or Merigold and find a deer of this caliber for yourself.

i have seen the deer first hand at ellis's taxidermy also, the deer is huge and yes it is as big as the picture portrays!! it is really sad for these people question ones honesty just because they dont have the patience and locations to take something of this caliber. if you wanna see it with your own eyes come to brandon,ms and look ellis up he will be glad for you to come by!!!

Looks legit to me. Congrats to whomever killed it that's a deer of a lifetime. I wouldn't to many people to know where I killed something like that either!!!!!!!

First off !

I SAID THE PICTURE "LOOKED" TAMPERED WITH !

You guys just want to jump in, and jump on Doc and I for saying the pic. looks funny !

Funny thing is, not a fraddlin one of ya has given any rebuttal to some of the points brought out about the pic. !

Sorry if the world fails to agree with ya'll on every little point !

Secondly !

Jealous ?

Is a word that is very frequently used ..... "IN HIGH SCHOOL" ! Grow up !

There is not one jealous bone in my body... ask anyone who knows me !

Forgive me... that I found some parts of this photo, that does not look just right !
Fools are the only people I know, that will believe anything that is told them !
I really don't care one way or the other !
Was just making conversation,... then here ya'll came !!!

if one would look back through my posts all I have claimed is that the picture looks manipulated and/or falsified

i have made no accusations about the kind of person this man is or his family for that matter

i have made no statements about where they hunt or how they hunt

I never claimed they do not kill big deer, thats wonderful i am glad they do

as for me i dont waste time hunting deer, in fact never killed one, buck or doe...it doesnt excite me enough, jealousy has absolutley nothing to do with it

gant said our comments are "exactly whats wrong with the hunting community" I wish he would elaborate about what, in his educated opinion, is wrong with the hunting community

just because people have differing opinions does not constitue something "wrong" in fact that is the main reason i visit the site to see and try to understand different views on new and old topics

if its real, then fine its real, congrats to the anonymous hunter for killing such a magnificent animal

I am curious as to why everyone has tried so hard to change our/my opinions about someone elses deer?

I really shouldn't jump in this one but after I finnally got the pic to open by changing the file extension back to .Jpeg after somebody else changed it before they posted it (don't ask me?) take a look

Image

I supposed this guy might just have 6 fingers heh or maybe he broke his ring finger at one time and it just don't line up anymore and grew twice as long or maybe the camera just thought he didn't need the rest of that finger anymore. there is several of the spots around the deers rack that just don't line up.

anyhoo I thought it kinda funny looking when I first saw it too... jealousy hell ya hehe I wish I harvested a deer that big before or after any way congrats to the hunter looks like a very nice deer but the pic is altered regardless of which Taxidermy shop it is in IMHO a pretty good doctor job taboot you should see some of the ones we have I think ole Dutch dogs seen a few of 'em heh
