Barbour Claims Victory!!!!!

Postby Unlucky Ducky » Wed Nov 05, 2003 12:23 am

Just saw on a local T.V. station out of Memphis that Haley Barbour has declared victory and has given a Victory speech with only 80% of the precincts reporting. At this point I beleive he was showing as having 54% of the vote to Musgrove's 46%., with about a 55,000 vote lead. No word from the Musgrove camp as of yet.
Don't be stupid, you idiot.

I'm glad it's over, now.......maybe they'll play some more music on the radio, now. :?

I'm leaving early, this morning......to go yank-up all the campaign signs I can get my hands on. They make great silhouette decoys! 8)

2.) DU gets blamed for the solar flares.
3.) Amy Tuck will get a new truck.
4.) Isola to receive state duck stamp funds.
5.) Trent Lott becomes new mascot at Ole Miss.

I am glad it is over also. These campaigns were extremely ugly. Everything you heard was negative. I can't remember a year when there was as much mud slinging in all campaigns as this one.

Our new Att. General, Jim Hood, is an avid outdoorsman and a duck hunter.

Webfoot, thanks for the updates on the campaign promises. Those were great.

I'm glad the elections are over as well. Every time you watched TV or listened to the radio you saw or heard an ad for the governors race. It definately stated getting old and very muddy.

No telling how much $$$ both canidates spent on advertising. Anyway I think the best man for the job won. I sure hope so for all our sakes.

anybody see the Marshall Ramsey clip in the Clarion Ledger showing Barbour sending his first employee to Mexico(Musgrove)? I thought that was pretty good.
