Cleaning concrete dog kennel

Just curious what different types of cleaning agents some of you use to sanitize and clean your concrete dog kennels? Thanks for your input!

Do not use bleach or any products with bleach. When I got my pup last year he and his litter mates had serious skin rashes and burns on their pads from the guy cleaning his kennel with bleach. The mother was not as seriously affected but did have some rashes. I always heard good hot boiling water works best and pressure wash. I do not have a concrete kennel so do not know what to tell you on what chemocals to use. What ever it is I'm sure after cleaning you probably need to spray it down good with just water.

clorox bleach used moderately ( appx 1/2 cup to couple gallons in a sprayer)
let it sit for a while and flush it off good with a pressure washer or hose. It would be best if you let it dry before putting the dogs back on it.

I have a concrete run inside my back lawn. Basically I just wash it down with high pressure water. Frankly, my dog's preference is never to commit waste to her area. I let her onto the lawn and she does her job there. Furthermore we walk the dog a couple of miles each morning and my scooper get most of the poop. Occasionally, I will mix clorox with water, lightly, and brush with a broom. Works for me.

Redhead hit it on the head!

Let it dry before you put Rover back on it, and you'll be O.K.

That's funny, mine does too.
