Fox News Story
I just got in from work and looked at the news and guess what they were showing. I promise I saw this on there I'm not fibbing. You maybe able to pull this off their website. Because of the lack of winter in the Mn., ducks were still sitting on ice and the little open water there was. Guess what there was nothing for the ducks to feed on so the city was dumping corn on the banks so the ducks wouldn't starve to death. I know what your thinking local ducks that don't come down the flyaway but these were thousands of ducks. They said "these ducks that usually go south for the winter just won't leave." I thought this was hilarious. Before you go getting mad I don't think they were shorstopping any ducks, but It was a lot of ducks and thought it was kind of funny for them to be showing this on the news.
Poor, poor ducks. Thanks to humans, they won't starve to death. How ever did they live before humans came to this continent?
I wanna see 'em dump meat out in the park so that the cougars and wolves won't be hungry.

I saw the same thing on the weather channel but with a little different story. It was in Minn. these ducks were being feed in large numbers all year long because they were fun to watch. The ducks became dependant on the feed and never migrated, when the snows came it became impossible to feed them but the ducks still came in large #s. These ducks have begun to starve off in large #s. At the moment they are looking for an alternative way to feed them. Yeah right! You should have seen these ducks looking for food in two foot of snow, nothing but their wings and heads above it.
I still say screw du. as for those ducks that were "starving" that would be the absolute BEST thing that could happen to them. #1 it would eliminate that group of ducks that think they need to stop off in downtown Minneapolis to winter. #2 it would teach those dumbass urbanites NOT to fool with mother NATURE.

J/K, my dad seen the same thing on the tube and was telling me about it.
