duforester,
Thanks for the welcome. I used to hunt a lot on the Cache but only get limited hunting there now. I have some places near Egypt, Weiner and Waldenburg where I hunt with friends or family on their land. My favorite is a pit blind near Egypt, located near the head of the Cache. Last year we spanked 'em real good there.
My primary hunting place is a field lease I have that is located about 20 miles west of Stuttgart. When the ducks finally decide to come, we'll normally have real good numbers of mallards, pintails and widgeon, and lots of geese.
There are also a few public areas scattered around where I go when the hunting pressure isnt too bad. Of course that's not very often.
Usually I go to one or the other depending on where the ducks are.

Cache:
I normally hunt on a club that borders the White River National Refuge. It is not too far from Mellwood and the pumping station. I love going over there to hunt!!
Also, my uncle named his dog Cache because the dog came from a breeder up around the Cache River.

I love to watch the ducks circle and the dogs work.
