Dixie's First Hunt

Postby MelissaM » Mon Dec 26, 2005 3:02 pm

We had a great Christmas! I got a new shotgun & put it to good use this morning. Dixie finally got to go on her first duck hunt & figure out what all this training was really for.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

I have a yellow dog named Dixie. I hope she does that good on her first hunt.

Congratulations.

Thanks! Not too bad for a brown dog trained by a girl, huh??

We'll be at West Mississippi, not sure where else we'll be running this spring.

I am so glad to see that the girl held up to your expectations. It looks like yall had a great day. I to be a West MS also with Nola in started. Also did i hear that you gave in to the puppy fever and got a new one?

Glad to hear you'll be at West MS - I hope I get to see Nola run. I did give in & get a puppy a few months ago. It was a deal I just couldn't pass up. Her name is Maggie & she's black - she's off of Mr. Bill Autrey's Cody, so hopefully she'll turn out to be a good dog.

Thanks! I think she's a great dog, but I'm a little biased.
