Skeeter:
Are you talking about those stumps right off the shore south of 43. There is a little island just past the stumps?

yeah, its south...but not over in that "coot area" as you were saying...i know what you are talking about....if you go down the channel about 500-700 yards (i think) and look directly out to your right you will see a huge stump field.....there is no island...my buddies paddled their boat out in the middle of it, put out a dozen dekes and slaughtered em....all they did was pull a tarp over themselves while in the boat....i would not have the balls to hunt in that location, or they way they did it....wouldnt waste a good morning hunt on that....but they did it 4 straight mornings last year and killed their limit of mallards every morning....

I know Main Harbor used to have plenty of cooters to chase.
 :D
But since the Dock is gone, I don't know if there are any worth chasing.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Had some of those cooters, but most didn't taste too fresh!

They have closed that blind. You have to hunt the woodline behind it now.

pretty damn good the past two hunts. :D :D I think we killed the donkey.

we do better on the trace side of the rez, though. I hope people don't see the ducks and start hunting our trace spots.

Dang right! And all you needed to kill a limit of mallards with was a basket of fries. I sure do miss the Dock.
