Jerk Machine

Postby beretta682 » Fri Jan 28, 2005 3:55 pm

Has anyone used the jerk machine. If so how has it performed. I started out with the spreaders to pull 12 decoys. They had great motion but you had so much arm movement pulling the cord that I was afraid the ducks could see me. So I ordered the Jerk machine that is supposed to pull and release the cord every 8 seconds or so. It works great when its working. I have not completed a hunt with it yet. Am I just snake bit with it or have others had problems. The guys that make them have been great. They have responded quickly when I have called. They have sent me 2 new circuit boards and also a new unit trying to get me going. But every time ther has been another problem. I trying to decide if I should just give up on it or not.

I think it has something to do with my hunting partners.

They are illegal to sell in MS. and Utah, but you can buy them mail order out of the back of those girlie magazines.

Maybe you should have rephrased the topic. What did you expect? :?
