Well we hunt alot of watersheds, all are public if you get permission to access it from a landowner then you can hunt the entire watershed. Or that is what we have been told. I would think if it was a public watershed and you accessed it by public waterway you would be legal. As long as you did not ...

I have had permission to hunt most of that lake for years. I obtained permission each year from the primary owner. This owner has most of the best area to hunt. This owner has turned the land over to his son in laws. I lost my hunting rights when that happened. They do duck hunt. I don't blame them ...

Are you sure it is county owned. Is it in Lee County or Pontotoc. I'm a land surveyor so I have the resources in my office to check if you are not 100% sure. That is if its in Lee County.

If it is a watershed as was built by Towncreek there was only an easement to a certian elevation obtained from each owner. I don't think they are public lakes, unless like Elvis Presley Lake (which was built as a watershed) the property was obtained by a public entity such as the State, County or ...

I think I may keep shooting ducks for a couple of weeks. I figure I might have it to myself. I'm talking about with a camera though. I just got a new camera and I'm wanting to try it out. After that its time to start sailing and racing sailboats at Pickwick. Sailing is 90 percent boredom and 10 ...

Jerk Machine

Has anyone used the jerk machine. If so how has it performed. I started out with the spreaders to pull 12 decoys. They had great motion but you had so much arm movement pulling the cord that I was afraid the ducks could see me. So I ordered the Jerk machine that is supposed to pull and release the ...

I have to say that was some incredible shooting by Alabama. State just does not match up well on the peremeter with Alabama. But man anything they threw up beyond the three went in. I thought Gottfried did try to run up the score. I'm not sure Stansbury wouldn't have done the same, there is not much ...

I use Street Atlas, 3-D TopoQuads and X-Map. More for work than hunting though. They are very useful for both.

What type lens do you like for the digital slr. I have just ordered a Nikon D70. I am trying a couple of Sigma lens with it. I can return them within 21 days if I don't like them. One is a 55-200 that will translate to a 85-320 on the D70.
