Albino turkeys

Does anyone know if it is bad to have them in your flock. Someone told me they are more prone to carry disease or get disease.

It is true that they usually don't live as long.

But is that due to them being white and no being able to hide as well from predators

This one did not last long. He was an early hatched two year old with some amber in his beard. Course, when I shot it, there were three about the same size, and it was just off the roost. Did not know it was a white phase.
I don't think that it affects the population at all. High water and not having a hatch 5 out of the last 6 years will do a number on your turkey population on the big river though.
